May the Creator Bless America

Sirius (/ˈsɪriəs/, designated α Canis Majoris (Latinized to Alpha Canis Majoris, abbreviated Alpha CMa, α CMa)) is the brightest star in the night sky. Its name is derived from the Greek word Σείριος Seirios “glowing” or “scorching”. With a visual apparent magnitude of −1.46, Sirius is almost twice as bright as Canopus, the next brightest star. Sirius appears bright because of its intrinsic luminosity and its proximity to the Solar System  (Wikipedia@)

Julia Griffin, intuitive healer, and owner of One True Self, © reminds is that SIRIUS, is a special start. Hindu writings referred to Sirius as the “Rain Star.” The Egyptians noted the annual flooding of the Nile followed the helical rising of the Dog Star. The life-giving floods were referred to as “Isis’ Tears”, and it marked the beginning of the New Year.

Tannaz Chubb, founder of Forever Consciousness © further explores why it is relevant to learn about this giant in the night sky. According to Tannaz, Sirius is the planet of higher consciousness, freedom, and technological advancements. Known for its high frequency it has been honored by the Mayans and the Ancient Egyptians.

The Ancient Egyptians believed that Sirius was a unique star and was known to bring blessings of abundance, fertility, and a rebirth. The Egyptians also believed that Sirius was where the souls of the dead would go after they left earth. As Tannaz has also researched, it is possible that ancient cultures may have believed that there were other forms of life on Sirius. Based on her perspective those forms of life, would contact Earth to offer insights, intelligent thoughts, and even kindness for the advancement of their “siblings” in the cosmos: humanity

July is a time when the meeting of the Sun and Sirius suggest that it is possible to expand the light. I personally entertain that thought and belief from our enlightened ancestors. July then is a signifier of greater “Illumination” and a time when light and truth would be shed on the world. This light was said to bring about a new evolution or way of being. This light was said to bring about a rebirth for all of those living on earth.

Sirius is even brighter than our own Sun, so many considered it to be the “Sun of the Sun”. In fact, it was believed that our Sun was the illuminator of the physical world whereas, Sirius was the illuminator of the spiritual world.

When Sirius and the Sun meet around the 3th-7th of July every year, the energy of Sirius is believed to become highly potent and influence planet earth. It is also worth mentioning that many other countries celebrate their birthday or Independence Day in early July as well. These include-

  • Algeria- July 5
  • Argentina- July 9
  • Bahamas- July 10
  • Belarus- July 3
  • Canada- July 1
  • Malawi- July 6
  • Somalia- July 1
  • Venezuela- July 5
  • France- July 14

And my own, beautiful country, the one that I embraced at an early age, traveling from the other America. The one where I have experienced love, kindness, passion for what is just, and deep caring for the world. The one that is currently undergoing a much-needed transformation.  As the Light of Sirus shines into the world, so will she.

This 4th of July, will find me in the wilderness, quietly embracing nature, and connecting with Spirit and the Creator. Reminding myself how privileged and responsible I am to be in the Land of the Free. And I will be in prayer for those who need to remember that we are all created equal, the same, and that we are all responsible as “temporary renters” of this planet, to get it right. I will be asking for forgiveness. I will be sharing the anger, the pain and the sorrow to the earth as I know she will transform it into something beautiful.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.Matthew 5:16

And so, it is.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA
